2 B surface of stainless steel is more applications in the following two aspects:

Compared with common AB face, 2 b surface smoothness is lower than AB face, but the overall is very uniform surface with inferior smooth shape. 2 b surface generally is heat treatment after cold rolling, pickling, and then use hair smooth surface roller.
