309 stainless steel , also as 309S stainless steel -S30908 (AISI,ASTM), 309S is a very common stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance(could withstand 980℃), mainly use for boilers,chemical industry etc. Compared with 309S, 309 does not include S. The grade is 0Cr23Ni13 in China.
